When Help is Needed

In hopes of clear communication between the different aspects of Care, please click on the Care Ministry diagram to better understand where to go for specific help.

Any general inquiries, contact the office.

We now have a confidential email address for those of you who wish to express private soul care needs in writing directly to Pastors or our Soul Care Leader.  We ask that you limit this to urgent pastoral care matters.  Small Group Leaders may want to use this as well, for expressing confidential needs that come up in your group.  None of the information will be shared outside of those receiving the email.

Front Door Ministries

Front Door Ministries provides a warm welcome to newcomers, that makes Grace a safe and inviting place.  Teams of volunteers provide information about the church, answer questions and assist people in learning their way around.

Welcome Centre:

Staffed by volunteers, they answer commonly asked questions, give direction and hand out ministry specific information.

Greeters:  Meet and welcome people at the entry doors, answering questions and providing directions as requested.

Ushers:  Meet and welcome people, giving out programs and seeing to it that they are comfortably seated.

Soul Care Ministries

Soul Care Ministries exists so that all who call Grace Church home know that they are important to God and to us (We are particularly mindful of those that experience the isolation of age as well as the isolation of life challenges and disabilities). We create partnerships with those who are isolated and then encourage consistent interaction of “love and good deeds!" - monthly visits and weekly phone calls.

Our hope is to show love, concern and interest by offering a listening ear & then responding as appropriate.

Small Groups (Discipleship)

Small Groups and relationships are an integral part of our church life.  They are a level of community that we surrender into.  They are the point at which we trade independence for interdependence.  They are where we set aside our consumerism (what I want and what is convenient for me) for what God wants and the needs of others.  We move from observing community to engaging in it.  The purpose of Small Groups and partnerships is to lead each other in being disciples of Jesus with each other.  The four discipleship functions of Grace (Worship, Love, Learn and Witness) can be enjoyed and lived out together. Would you like to sign up?  Contact the office or sign up at the Welcome Center!
